2023 Session 5 Inspirational Speaker
Karrin Felton spoke at the Girls In Technology (Washington DC Metro Area) Mentor Protege Program Finale and Graduation with the theme was "Being Courageous!" The proteges enjoyed the talk and spoke about "how cool it was hearing about the accomplishments of girls in STEM close to their age."

Karrin Felton was invited to be a guest speaker by Ms. Akiza Boddie-Willis, Director, DoD-STEM Advancing Opportunities for Women in STEM Program at Malcom X City Colleges of Chicago. 2021 Biotech Series Keynote Speaker

Ms. Felton, a NSBE member, conducted two workshops (NSBE Jr. and NSBE professionals) sharing her STEM journey as a black woman working in the Department of Defense. She addressed ongoing efforts to bridge the gap for underserved groups and minority students in the STEM field.
